Helen Huber
Mid-century magazine science fiction; domestic surfaces hiding sharp unease.
Helen Huber (fl. 1953) is an English-language science fiction author about whom, to date, there is little verifiable biographical information. Her name is remembered mainly for the story "I'll Kill You Tomorrow," published in the magazine If Worlds of Science Fiction.
A mystery byline for 2026
Almost nothing is known about Helen Huber beyond a single story in a 1950s science fiction magazine, and that scarcity is part of the draw. "I'll Kill You Tomorrow" comes from the era of lean, idea-driven magazine SF meant to be read in one sitting. Read her today for a dispatch from that world — and for the strange pleasure of meeting a writer the record barely kept.
