Conscience in community for 2026

Margaret Deland studies how conscience moves through families, churches, and shops. Decisions are concrete, costs are real, and kindness is never cheap. In polarized seasons she offers a vocabulary for patient reform. Read her to think about neighborliness as duty and about the slow art of making a life.
