Jim Crocker lives with his father and stepmother in London. He is known to be a great party animal. However, one day he physically assaults a nobleman and must leave London because of the trouble he is causing his father.

Jim goes to New York, in the United States, where he will soon fall in love with the young Ann Chester, who will embark him in a twisted and funny plan that will get him into more trouble...
