Dorothy L. Sayers

Golden Age mystery with logic, theology, and style woven into fair play.

Dorothy L. Sayers was a British writer whose literary work stands out for her mystery and detective novels.

With a very skillful narrative, in which well-developed characters and intricate plotting stand out, Sayers brought a new perspective to the detective genre with works such as Whose Body? or Unnatural Death.

She created the character of Lord Peter Wimsey, an amateur detective who quickly endeared himself to crime novel fans.

She also showed interest in theology and religious philosophy, writing several theological works in which he developed his thoughts and faith in God.
