There, Mark Ablett has been with a group of guests joined by his brother Robert, the black sheep of the family. He has come all the way from Australia and is soon found murdered by a gunshot wound to the head.
Tony will become an amateur detective to try to find out who has been the author of the crime and what motives have led him to commit it?
"IN the drowsy heat of the summer afternoon the Red House was taking its siesta. There was a lazy murmur of bees in the flower-borders, a gen- tle cooing of pigeons in the tops of the elms."
