Glinda of Oz is a novel written by L. Frank Baum and originally published in 1920. It is the fourteenth book in the Oz series.

The book introduces us to the return of the Wicked Witch of the West. The story begins from the Wicked Witch of the West to Mombi, the Witch of the North. The Wicked Witch of the West is looking for a way to kill Glinda, the Good Witch of the South. Mombi tells her that the only way to kill Glinda is to find the Water of Life, which is hidden in a secret place.

The Wicked Witch sets out to find the Water of Life and enlists the help of an evil giantess called the Lava Witch. They find the water of life, but the Lava Witch betrays the wicked witch and drinks it herself....

The Wicked Witch is furious and swears revenge on Glinda, so she manages to capture her with some help. The Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion set out to rescue Glinda, and they are joined by the Wizard of Oz...
