The Missing Chums is a mystery book written by Franklin W. Dixon and first published in 1928.
In this adventure we will accompany the brothers Frank and Joe Hardy in their search for their friends, Chet Morton and Biff Hooper, who have mysteriously disappeared.
The narrative will lead us to discover several challenges where the brothers will have to face very dangerous situations and solve several mysterious puzzles.
All of this will lead them to discover the existence of a band of smugglers and the mystery behind a stolen boat.
Dixon will then unveil a novel that mixes action, mystery and friendship in the same story, demonstrating the importance of courage, determination and teamwork to solve crimes and protect their loved ones.
"The Three Strangers.
"You certainly ought to have a dandy trip."
"I'll say we will, Frank! We sure wish you could come along."
Frank Hardy grinned ruefully and shook his head.
"I'm afraid we're out of luck. Joe and I may take a little trip later on, but we can't make it this time."
"Just think of it!" said Chet Morton, the other speaker. "A whole week motorboating along the coast! We're the lucky boys, eh, Biff?"
Biff Hooper, at the wheel of his father's new motorboat, nodded emphatically."
