Fully influenced by Socrates, the dialogues deal mainly with ethical concerns.
Plato continues to reflect on political questions, in addition to dealing with the philosophy of language or introducing the Theory of reminiscence.
Plato develops the theory of Reminiscence, introduces the Theory of Ideas and deals with various myths.
In addition to revising ideas from earlier stages, Plato introduces themes on medicine or nature. His pessimism grows in his later works and there is a greater presence of mystical-religious elements in his thought.
